Student Project
This project shows a design concept based on Wasabi, a Japanese steakhouse and sushi bar, located in Lynchburg, VA.
The logo design in this project shows hand-drawn letters underlined by a pair of chopsticks. The Japanese symbols within the W are for Wabi-Sabi. Wabi-Sabi refers to a way of life, emphasizing the beauty in imperfection and the natural cycle of life. The letterhead prominently displays the restaurant logo and a section of the chopsticks. The Japanese symbols are left out of the logo and placed on the back of the letterhead. The envelope incorporates a chopstick pattern based on the logo.
