Aletheia

Aletheia is a school in New Hampshire that supports, provides tools, and offers classes to homeschool families. The word Aletheia is associated with the Greek goddess of truth, representing the school's commitment to seek truth and support learning. Their tagline reinforces this concept: "Rooted in Christ. Infused with Truth." Aletheia needed a logo that would communicate their values, and they requested that it incorporate the imagery of an olive tree. The icon shape infers strength and elegance. The leaves and olives are, of course, tied to the olive tree. The dark and light aspects of the icon allude to the literal translation of Aletheia, unconcealedness and revealing of truth. The handlettered font is a modern and elegant twist on Greek stylistics.
